Lio, the Neatlio raccoon, with orange file folders and a sculptural disk chart

Your Mac. A little lighter

Clear out disk clutter, tidy up apps, and shrink images, videos or GIFs

Explore Neatlio

Know where your gigabytes went

Stop digging through nested folders by hand. See what is eating your storage, which apps left files behind, and what your system is doing right now.

Track down space hogs

Break down disk usage by folder, surface forgotten large files, and review caches, logs and old installers before sending anything to Trash.

Folder breakdown / Large files / Caches, logs & installers

Remove apps and leftovers

Dragging an app to Trash often leaves support files behind. Inspect installed apps alongside their associated files and decide what stays or goes.

Check live system activity

Wondering what is taxing your CPU, filling up memory or using the network? Check live system stats without cluttering your menu bar.

Shrink images, videos and GIFs offline

You should not have to upload private files to sketchy web converters just to compress a screen recording, resize a batch of photos or make a quick GIF.

Batch-shrink images

Drop in a batch of screenshots or photos to shrink file sizes, resize dimensions and convert formats in one pass.

Batch compress / Resize / JPEG, PNG, WebP

Put videos on a diet

Screen recording too large to send? Compress video weight, step down resolution and export in standard Mac containers.

Compress / Resolution / MP4, MOV

Turn clips into GIFs

Trim the exact moment you want from a video and export a looping GIF, a numbered frame sequence or a single still frame.

Why Neatlio earns a spot in your Dock

A good Mac utility stays out of your way, respects your files, and feels like it belongs on macOS from the first click.

True macOS feel

Hit Space for Quick Look, reveal any item in Finder, and navigate with familiar keyboard shortcuts instead of learning a foreign UI.

One app, not five

Disk analyzer, app uninstaller, system monitor, and media compressor live under one roof — so you can stop juggling five tiny utilities.

Processed on your Mac

Disk scanning and image, video and GIF processing run locally on your machine. Private screenshots and clips never touch a cloud converter.

Read-only, no surprises

Neatlio never deletes files behind your back. Scans are strictly read-only, every cleanup waits for your confirmation, and local history logs every original path.

No scare tactics. Just a calmer Mac.

Too many Mac cleaners try to panic you with flashing warnings and made-up urgency. We built Neatlio for the opposite feeling: keeping your Mac tidy and prepping everyday files should feel calm, clear and unhurried.

Neatlio lays out the facts and handles the heavy lifting locally, while leaving every decision to you. No nagging popups, no mystery deletions.

Questions, answered

Who is the little raccoon?

Meet Lio. The name Neatlio combines Neat with our orange raccoon’s name, Lio.

Does running a scan touch or delete my files?

Never. Scanning is strictly read-only. Nothing is moved to Trash until you review the list and explicitly confirm your selection.

Can I put something back after cleanup?

As long as the item is still in macOS Trash, you can check its original folder path in Neatlio’s History log and drag it back from Trash. History is a path record rather than an automatic undo button.

Why didn’t my free disk space jump right away?

Items sitting in macOS Trash still take up disk space, and Neatlio never empties Trash behind your back. Reported file sizes are also estimates and do not guarantee an identical change in macOS available space.
